My name is Pat.  I was born in Detroit Michigan and I live in Phoenix Arizona.  I have a deep connection to both places.  I wish there was a way for me to be in both places at once.

I have a classic Aries personality with all of the good traits and the bad as well.  I have always been comfortable with that and I embrace it fully.  I’ve never tried to be anything that I am not.  I am honest to a fault and I have no trouble telling people how to do something the way I believe it should be done.

Music and art have always been a large part of my life.  I am left handed and I play guitar.  There aren’t many options out there to pick from when buying a left handed guitar so I have learned over time how to build my own from parts.  Building guitars is an incredibly rewarding experience, but it is also very expensive and can be frustrating at times.  My main axe is still a beat up old mexican Strat that I rescued from a Guitar Center and brought back to life. 

I also buy lots of CDs and I’ve amassed quite a large collection.  Most of what I buy falls under the categories of stoner rock, garage rock, and blues.  I have a bunch of older metal as well.

The other thing I buy a lot of is books.  Mainly music books, guitar books, sci-fi, fantasy, biographies, and classics.

I’m always willing to talk about any of the interests listed above, and just about anything else.
